The Loop Road had some major improvements completed over the past couple of years.   So getting here is easier on your car and you.

Louis Lake Lodge is now only 9 miles from pavement in both directions.  A pavement project from Bruces' parking to the Worthen Meadows intersection was completed in Sept 2010.

6" of road base was added from Louis Lake to South Pass in the fall of 2009.
